Sunday climbing couldn't happen because of the wet and windy weather, so we went for a low level walk from Foremark Reservoir which wasn't far from the car share point either.

The rain had stopped before we started and it was just the cold and ferocious wind we had to contend with, but later there was a period of rain before the sun came out again. It was much better than forecast though!

Almost at the carpark we passed Carver's Rocks which look quite dramatic with their shapes and lovely sandstone colours, much of it covered with moss and lichen. So not much good for climbing anyway but we just had to have a little play :-)
