Great Spotted Woodpecker

We had a lovely few hours at RSPB Burton Mere this morning. No rarities around but we still enjoyed our visit a lot. 
As always we hope to see the Green Woodpecker at Burton Point, but as usual it was a no-show :) 
But I loved that this Great Spotted Woodpecker was enjoying the food from the feeder and I managed to catch him hopping from the feeder to the telegraph pole a couple of time. Not 100% sharp, but it will do for me :) 
Went shopping at the big Sainsbury's at Ellesmere Port on the way home for a change. We only have a small one locally but it normally suits our needs. So long as they have loads of nice fruit and veg we are normally quite happy.
