Kincraig Point at Elie/Earlsferry

This is the rocky coast on the Coastal Path between Shell Bay and Elie/Earlsferry.  Most of the rock here is volcanic lava or extrusive igneous rock.

We walked the Coastal Path here this morning in lovely sunshine.  Cold of course, but fine when we were moving.  We passed a field growing Kale, so picked some.  Naughty I know, but I`m sure it wont be missed.  We passed only four people, so it was lovely and quiet.

Home again to muck about with photos, then made a batch of pancakes.  Then it was off to share them out with Wendy, Catriona, and Janice.  After that we made our way round by the harbour and the shore and up to the wee park, where Geordie could get off the lead.  Hecta and Eilidh arrived with their dad, then Fergie, Ludo and Maggie in quick succession.  Then it was just happy dogs running in all directions, chasing balls or just chasing each other.  Geordie just loves being chased.  He will sometimes nudge another dog until it chases him.

The park, being at the west end of town close to the water, gets very cold and windy at times.  Luckily I stay very close so its quick to get home and warm up.  We were back in the house at 5 o`clock and it was still light.  A noticeable difference in the length of the days now.

Kirsty phoned to say she is going to be off work for a few months as she will be having Oxygen therapy 4 days a week in Edinburgh, for her Long Covid.  I`m really glad there`s something that might help her, but I`m going to miss her heaps.

Extra: Stairway to .......?  A hot tub and a glass of wine would do me.
