Catch us if you can!

The squirrels do not seem to have any fear of predators. Mystère was literally climbing up the tree and they just mocked him from above. They must be confident that they can outrun him. If you're not bored with squizzers yet, there are more by clicking right from here.

We went to the intercambio this morning, staying well past the allocated time while talking to Jen (Canada), Lola (Spain) and Eric (Czech Republic). This is one of the things I like about Almuñecar -- you meet so many people from different backgrounds. Eric told us about the ten years he spent as a sailor from the age of 17, despite being from a landlocked country, and how he landed on his feet returning home just as the Berlin Wall fell. He now has a Spanish partner and is very committed to learning Spanish, spending hours a day on it.

Rather than go straight home afterwards we went to the recently re-opened l'Osteria for lunch -- escalivade followed by a very good pizza. And then chilled at home. I'm glad we went to the beach yesterday, as today is cool and breezy. Though nothing like what Britain and Ireland have suffered with storm Eunice -- I hope you all stayed safe.
