Hobbler Walk

Well what a glorious day!  It really did feel like Spring so we were up and about and out in the garden and allotment reasonably early.  I took my time cleaning out Shep the Rabbit, mainly because folks kept coming by on the footpath and pausing to chat.  Mini neighbour M also arrived to feed Shep and asked if she could help with the cleaning out so I had a lovely catch up with M's Mum.  It was also very pleasant to sit out on the patio with my coffee and croissant mid morning.

Tony went up to the allotment to lift the remainder of the carrots and returned with a whole bowl full, as in sink bowl, so he spent several hours processing them.

After lunch it was time to head down to the village to meet up with the Hobblers for our monthly walk.  I haven't been to the last couple as we have been away or orienteering so it was great to be able to enjoy the sunshine in excellent company on a walk over the Moor and back through the Estate.  It was particularly good to see N, K and L who have either moved away or stopped running.  The eagle eyed amongst you will spot WilsdenWalker!

Sadly the Café had closed by the time we reached it, so the only alternative was to come back to ours for a cuppa and Tunnocks!  A smashing couple of hours.
