Desert Meadows Park

Desert Meadows Park is a wonderful gathering place for people in the area. Melanie and I took a stroll through it. I chose this stone engraved with the message about friends because I think it really is a town landmark.

The park contains a little free library, many small pavilions for folks to gather, a butterfly and hummingbird garden and small sculptures by local artists among many other things. Most of the chairs, benches, and summer swings even have cushions on them.

Thanks so much to Jensphotos for hosting this month. I really enjoyed the themes. Now it looks like she’s moving on to host Wide on Wednesday. A busy, busy person Who is a wonderful part of Blipfoto. Thanks, Jenny.

There are still hosting opportunities for July and September. So far in 2022, we have had or will have hosts from the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden. It would be really awesome from someone in a different part of the world (what is outside of those countries) to host sometime this year. It’s not a requirement that someone be from a unique place, so if you’re interested in hosting, no matter where you live, reach out to me.

Thanks to KangaZu for carrying the baton for the month of March.
