Fat Tuesday

"Fettisdag" 'Fat Tuesday'. We are officially allowed to eat our whipped cream topped wheat bun with a thick layer of almond paste underneath the cream. The lid of the bun is sprinkled with powdered sugar. Some nerds only eat one a year but most of us have already fallen in the sugar trap, they start selling them after Christmas already. When I arrived at the best bakery for miles, there was a queue of five people outside the shop but four of them went in quite soon. Some of the smaller shops still only allow a certain number of people at once, this shop allows five customers inside. The process is rather quick, "one Semla please", " that'll be 45 kronor", "thank you, good bye". 

Mine tasted wonderfull.   

The state of the world, on the other hand, is serious and very worrying.
