No rain, yet!

This is the bothy on the shores of Loweswater.  I hadn't been at the lake since January and it was sunnier then.  I had started early in case it rained, but it didn't rain while I was out.  Would be forecast be wrong?  It was cold and windy.  The walk back was difficult as gusts were strong.  Today there was low cloud with the occasional glimpse of sun as the photo shows.  Weak sunbeams struck the ground.  Still the walk was good and people all spoke.  Not a bad result.  Coffee in the car warmed me as I took in the view. The extra shows the Ennerdale Fells yesterday after I gave blood.  The colours are exactly that.  A warm afternoon, so what will tomorrow bring?
