Slept better thank goodness then a day at home but with lots of meetings, unusually for a Friday.
The day passed in quite a blur, with news of work to do for next Friday and another catch up with my successor which was heartening and quite fun.
Also a session planning the two days of promotions meetings next week….my weekend will be swallowed up by yet more reading to finish the prep, so decided to start with a treat and go to A’s newly discovered Italian restaurant, and R came along too. Lovely chatty evening talking of life with teenagers and their parties, car crashes, strikes, our various travel plans and sabbatical ambitions.
Bit of an emergency blip and not the first to blip this but very pleased to have my copy of this book edited by Arclight and others….it’s had a long gestation but is a great collection.
