Snow Blossom

We woke up this morning to trees festooned with hoar frost. Later the frost turned to very light snow, continuing to coat all the trees.
Jude commented that the tree here in the centre looked as if it was covered in blossom. An interesting and creative thought!  
The pictures are taken from the path we have tramped up from the lower end of the sledging trail. It's an unusual angle from which  to photograph our house.
The sledging was fast enough that we flew off the track at a curve near the bottom, and had to spend 30 minutes piling snow into a wall to deflect us down onto the track again.  I suppose this is how the Cresta Run came into being!
This wasn't my first choice of blip, that can be sen in the extra. However, both Jan and Jude have blipped similar pictures so it may have been boring to have too many blipsnaps!
We have daily Wordle solving and today I solved the problem in four goes, slightly better than the other three managed. Not that it matters. Just saying....
