Gathering clouds

Rain clouds gathering beyond Broomhill Bridge. This 15 span wooden bridge carrying a minor road over the Spey was opened on 27th November 1894- the Countess Dowager of Seafield having driven the last nail home.
It is considered to be the finest wooden bridge surviving in Scotland. A similar structure at Boat of Garten was replaced by a more conventional structure in 1974.
