The Same Sky

We share the same sky, the same sun, moon and stars, yet the people of Ukraine see only fire and smoke • Tonight I will look to the sky and recite these words to the universe:

Star light, Star bright,
First star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight;
That always may your love be shining bright,
Just like that first star I see tonight.

Stars give, Stars shine;
Makes our whole world seem fine.
Stars can do what they do;
All the rest is up to you.
Never let peace out of sight,
Just like that first star I see tonight.
