Binny Craig

Binny Craig is an outcrop of igneous rock formed by the action of glaciers in the last ice age. It rises from rolling farmland near Broxburn in West Lothian.

We tootled over to Beecraigs Country Park this morning to meet our friends S&J who live in Edinburgh. The weather is just lovely and we had a great walk around the trails. Warm enough to have coffee, then lunch, outside. The view east was pretty hazy though we could eventually see the Bridges and Arthurs Seat. The hills behind Binny are the Pentlands which lie south of Edinburgh. The blip is slightly marred by the haziness I think but it's a good record of a nice day.

Home to a swift supermarket shop and now it's garden time. Wishing you all a good weekend.
