Birdsong

I have been painting the little tables in the garden today and went out as dusk was coming to put a final coat on the top. The Blackbird was singing his heart out at the top of the Silver Birch. There are many lovely birdsongs, in particular the Robins in our garden, lovely trilling, but I love to hear the Blackbirds singing away in the morning and evening.
Reminds me of the first Sebastian Faulks book I read, called 'Birdsong', a WW1 story.
I included a photo of the tables purely for our own records. Marlane, in particular, likes to look back through the years to see what we were doing on the same day.
