Three little maids

The two older girls had been doing tik toks at the waters edge but weren't keen on getting too wet.  Chickens...

The sky belies what the day was actually like, sunny bits with occasional showers mainly until this evening when more steady rain and showers set in although it's not raining now as I type this and I did catch a glimpse of a waxing moon. 

The day was spent productively with a section of the garden tackled.  Only 99% left to do.  It's going to be a big job only because it has become so out of control and I am totally to blame there.  Hangs head in shame.
