HOORAY - GUESS WHO'S BACK?

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We have been so excited all week because we could see there was a lot of movement in the log pile and we did wonder if Hoggy was stirring and ready to come out of hibernation.

Well, yesterday, we saw a little snout poking out and then, and then....out he popped!  We were all there, shouting "Hooray" at the tops of our voices and some of us even helped to move the logs out of the way, so that he could get out without too much trouble.

He was a bit slow at first, not having used his little legs for so long and we were all so thrilled to see him so decided that today would be the day we had a party to welcome him back home.

As if that wasn't enough, Hoggy told us that while he had been sleeping in the log pile, he had heard something croaking and yesterday, when he peeked out, he could see a big green frog.  Hoggy knew that we would be happy to have another member of our Blip Silly Saturday Gang, so he invited Froggy to come along and join us.  We think he will be a big asset especially when we want some deep notes when we are singing!

After all the excitement of yesterday, we all had a good sleep, although Hoggy said he had slept enough over the last few months, so he stayed up all night!  We decided that we would make a Hoggy-looking cake so hope you like the one you can see.  We used little chocolate fingers to make them look like Hoggy's spikes and look forward to tasting it a bit later with some hot chocolate and marshmallows.

You can see that Hoggy has his nose in the cake and so does Froggy, but Reeth, our dear little pink pig said he prefers the marshmallows, so we just let him carry on eating them - all the more cake for us!

Even if Hoggy hadn't woken up yesterday, he would be awake this morning, because the scaffolding men are busy and making lots of noise.  They are taking down the scaffolding from Lynn and Mike's house and putting it up on the HCB's house, so you can imagine all that malarkey going on.  They were here by 7.30 a.m., which Lynn wasn't happy about, as she liked to have a lie-in on a Saturday morning, and they even woke Mrs. HCB - but at least she didn't wake and get up in the middle of the night, which was good!

We hope you all have a great weekend - it's a lovely sunny day, so we may take Hoggy and Froggy for a wander around the garden and show them all that Mr. HCB has been doing.

I'm sure we will be having some adventures together, so watch this space - and we know that Admirer would have loved to see us all together!

With love to you all from
The Blip Silly Saturday Gang xxx
