Morning glory

It’s been super weather up here today. A bright and fresh morning (cold in the shadows), although there were hints of an inversion (see blip, taken during our usual morning constitutional down to the shoreline; that’s Struie Hill in the background). It resolved into another generally sunny day, with lots of puffy clouds. The extra was taken during a short walk on the Glen Calvie estate this afternoon, which was a bit random but generally quite successful. We took a side turn up a hill, which turned out to be a viewpoint with a 360 degree view over the top end of the Strath Carron valley, the Amat Forest and beyond. We also visited Croick Church, which unfortunately is no longer open to the public since Covid.

In and amongst, more progress was made.
