a lifetime burning

By Sheol

We're back ....

... and so the damselfly and dragonfly season can begin again :-)

The large red damselfly is our most common damselfly here in the UK.  The earliest I have found one in the garden is 14 April, so I've been keeping an eye out for them for about a week now.  I am therefore rather pleased to have found this one today as he rested briefly on the euphorbia before going on to find a more suitable place to perch.
