Sunflowers

We went walking (slowly for me) with our Tuesday morning group today and part of the route took us through the gardens at Bastion Point.  What a surprise it was to find the beds full of miniature sunflowers. They looked so cheerful in the sunshine.  So, of course, they feature in today’s blip.

There are 6,380 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 8,085, compared to 7,585 last Tuesday. The number of people in hospital is 508, including 16 in ICU. Another 4 deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 687 and the seven-day rolling average of reported deaths to 12.
