Frieda looks after the garden

Yesterday's migraine had lifted by this morning: thank you for all the good wishes.
Frieda was with us as usual today. The morning was chilly but by this afternoon it was sunny and we spent some happy times in the garden.
I keep thinking of the UN leader's visit to Putin today. Apparently Putin kept Gutierres waiting while he chatted to Russian athletes. I wonder: where do you start, in trying to de-escalate conflict with someone who has already boxed themselves into such an extreme position?
