Afternoon tea in the Willow Tea Rooms

Our friends Jackie and Richard (from our undergraduate days at the University of Birmingham) are on holiday in Glasgow at the moment. They invited us to join them as tourists in the city today.

We caught the train at 09:30, arriving in Glasgow at 10:22. Our first stop was brunch at Stravaigin. Then we had a wander (and wonder) through the art exhibitions in the Kelvingrove Museum. After this, there was time for a visit to the Botanic Gardens before we headed back into town for afternoon tea at the Willow Tea Rooms. In my blip, Mr hazelh models the spread of sandwiches, scones and cakes at tea time.

It's been a lovely day out in the (warmer) west.

Exercise today: walking (23,258 steps).
