The unfurling

The hedgerows are alive with insects, butterflies, hoverflies, bees, all attracted to the beautiful wild flowers in the hedgerows, plus the ferns gradually unfurling their fronds. Plenty of birdsong too. I spotted 4 swallows/housemartins. The skylarks singing their little hearts out as usual plus spotted a bird I'm unfamiliar with in the hedgerow, so need to id that one in a mo. A glorious sunshiny walk this morning. Jorgie gave the odd sigh ... This is boring! Hey! We're out in the countryside, soak it up, enjoy! Warmer here than Spain where jorgiesmum & jorgiesdad are currently holidaying. They're back tomorrow evening.
I popped back to Chudleigh, prepared tonight's dinner for hubby. Popped the freshly laundered bedding out on the line then made up the bed. He gets in a tizz trying to get the duvet inside the cover .. Mum does as well, but she's always been a bit cack-handed so it's understandable. :-D
Just prepped a lamb & ratatouille casserole for tomorrow nights dinner so I think I'm up to speed.

Thanks to H0tamer for hosting Tiny Tuesday
