Fame At Last!

Hello!  Our names are Hamlet (left) and Percy (right). We live at the egg farm and today it’s OUR turn for our 15-minutes of fame!  

Heidi comes here to buy eggs. There are THOUSANDS of hens here and also some goats, 3 alpacas, a whole herd of reindeer and US!  We are kunekune rare-breed pigs - from New Zealand!  We are often sleeping in our little house or even in the mud, but today we decided to come say hello to Heidi when she was here. Normally it’s the reindeer who get their 15-minutes of fame. Like when Tornado and Cloudy said hello!

We were hoping for a handout of food so we showed off our beautiful teeth, but all Heidi did was point her phone at us!  You’d think she would have given us a treat for the privilege of being her blip for today!!  Even though there are stupid signs everywhere telling the egg-shoppers not to feed the animals!

Heidi didn’t stay long. She said she was in a rush - busy busy busy in between lots of work trips.
