A View To a Kill

One of these people is a murderer. But which one? After all, we all have a motive…
We did some publicity photos before tonight’s rehearsal. Once we’d done the serious poses, the Director asked us to look a bit more light-hearted. As if we needed an excuse to start being silly!
Not a bad rehearsal, though there was a lot of complicated action to block out for the final scene. By the time we’d run it a couple of times to everyone’s (i.e. the Director’s) satisfaction, it was too late to do any more scenes. On the plus side, I’m now not needed for Sunday’s rehearsal so can have an afternoon off.
Another quiet day, apart from that. Mrs C has not been feeling very well - nausea, sore throat and a cough. I’ve had a bit of a cough as well and put it down to the damp weather. But when I got to rehearsal, I found a couple of others had similar symptoms. The one thing we all had in common? We’d been at a wedding reception on Saturday. The type of event oft cited as a good place to catch covid! One of the others had tested and it came up negative, so let’s hope it’s just one of those annoying summer colds that used to be so common at this time of year.
I also hope we’re both feeling better in the morning as we’ve got a bit of a road trip planned for tomorrow.
