Marjorie's ramblings

Invaders!

I've had a quiet day at home today. When I was beginning to think about a blip, this euphorbia caught my eye as I looked at the garden. It is Euphorbia griffithii (I think) and I know it as Euphorbia fireglow.

It grows on a north facing wall and provides much needed colour there.

Imagine my surprise when I found a host of pollinating ants in the flowers. They were very busy.

Jenny and Dennis came for tea. It's always lovely to see them and have a chat. They like to hear about the Walking Festival, having been very keen walkers themselves.
