Conversational Zygoptera

I am reminded I need to do today's Duolingo exercises. I'm 1260 days into German and Portuguese but I note that don't do Dragonfly...

Back on the new pond, these damselfly chaps are having a lively chat while they get on with it. Down below, indeed almost below the surface, the ladies probably have more on their minds... their mates, for one thing.

I was a bit meh about the extra shot, so meh in fact that I forgot to post it (now fixed), since the ovipositing dragon has her back to us. But when I looked closer I could count the number of emerging nymphs just below the surface.

aaaand, back to processing more Lisbon shots! :-)
