A day in the life

Meet young mr. 0196, a bullock, latest born in the herd, only a couple of months old. I wanted to give him a proper portrait before he goes on with his life, a life that will be full of play and food and summer fields with lots of green grass, playing with his older brothers and sisters before sometime in the future end up as either a piece of meat or, if he's lucky, to serve as a breeding bull somewhere. I wish him all the best on his journey.
I took several pictures of him lying beside his father, the bull, when I came back from my jogging round. When I changed the camera setting to "portrait" the camera was making a click-noise that made him worried, he stood up and eventually backed away. Then his father, the bull rose, turned and looked at me as to say; what did you just do to my son? That's when I stood up and backed away to have a shower.

For me, it's been a good day. My former landlord came to visit and gave me some tomato plants that has now found a place to grow in. After lunch I had an appointment with a doctor at the hospital, specialising on rheumatic diseases, showing him my hands to have a look at. He calmed me saying that I should go on playing as long as it was possible, there seems to be nothing seriously wrong with them, from a rheumatic point of view. Time will tell if I have psoriatic arthritis. There are no obvious signs of it yet but it can't be ruled out. Keep on playing. I *was* relieved to hear that.

The extra is a symbol from my youth; when the canola flowers, summer enters. It can also be seen as a symbol of the Ukraines unwillingness to give up. I wish you all a good Thursday.
