Friday night on the pier

After a long work day I finished by 5. Mollie had cooked a curry for dinner, as Henry wanted to get straight out tonight. He has gone to Leeds to meet his Cromer friends who are at Uni there. So we ate really early and then he got on the road about 5.30.

Jon went out to collect some more wood for tomorrow and I cycled up to the allotment to feed the chickens. As we had had more welcome rain today, I spent about 20 mins weeding a small section of the onions.

We have decided to drop in to Cromer to finish off our week. Not a perfect sunset, but we watched from the pier. There is some kind of strip show on in the theatre tonight - hundreds of (mostly intoxicated) women of all ages have queued to get in to see them. It's called 'Forbidden Nights #sexycircus' - I can only imagine what they are doing, but the shouts and screams from the audience are audible out in the bar. That is where Jon and I are now, enjoying a pint/half pint. It is calm out on the sea and we watched a group having paddle boarding lessons.

We had an ice cream on our walk down, and plan chips on the walk back. It's like a holiday.

Happy Friday night out everybody :-)
