Immersed

This is Friday's blip, backblipped on Saturday.

I took 147 photos at the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Denver today (Friday).  I spent hours going through them and narrowing down to 50 favorites.  They make a beautiful slideshow!  Please look at today's blip in large and check out the extras as well.  It was totally amazing to be in a very large room with art in constant motion on all the walls and the floor and wonderful classical music surrounding us.  There were actually two big rooms.  The first one had a reflective floor and a lot of mirrored sculptures, the second was more open with art projected on the floor as well.  I highly recommend it if there's an exhibit near you.  Just a warning, though, if you get motion sick easily (like me), you'll have to spend some times with your eyes closed.  It was mostly okay, but some things just moved too quickly for my equilibrium.

We drove to Denver in the rain, but while we were inside the temperature dropped, and it changed to snow.  Fortunately, it wasn't sticking to the highway, so the drive wasn't too bad.  At home, it only stuck to the grass and we got less than an inch.  It's over now (Saturday) but it's still cold and we'll have another freeze tonight.

Thank you to everyone for your visits and stars and hearts!  My mystery abstract was the fireplace poker against the fireplace screen, flipped upside down and pinched a bit. :-)

I am grateful to Becky for planning the day!  It was another prebirthday activity.  Today (Saturday) is her actual birthday and we have more plans. :-)
