Mono Monday

The theme is Kenneth Grahame’s book The Wind in the Willows. This is Mole, Moley to his friends. An independence, timid, genial, thoughtful, home loving animal ( sounds like me ha ha). I’ve forgotten the story line so I’ll stop there.

After a trip to the UK my father arrived home with this mole as a gift. I never knew what Dad would do next. This was the most unusual gift I think ( Mum didn’t even know he had bought it). I was an adult, married with 4 kids at the time but he obviously wanted to spoil me in his own way.
