My day

The local service club (Lions Club) has erected this mangrove walkway. I took yesterday’s blip out there at low tide and this evening went back to see the differences. It was quite strange and a bit spooky with the water about a metre higher. It’s pretty here.

The extra has an odd collection of things that caught my eye on a walk around town, nice old colonial buildings, small and huge gum nuts, a street library and for 60Plus there is a gate with rabbit traps as decoration.

We did a short drive out to Lucky Bay where a ferry arrives from across Spencer Gulf. I didn’t know about it before researching this holiday. It would save 300-400km but costs about $300+ for a caravan booking.
