Siesta

It’s much warmer today for all of us. This tufted titmouse seemed to be seeking shelter from the afternoon sun. Under a canopy of spent cherry blossoms he took refuge for a little R&R. He preened, he sang, spread his tail, even stretched both wings. Tuftie eventually left feeling a whole lot better • Little things got done today from grocery shopping to watering flowers, seeds and seedlings. Mostly we were distracted by news updates from Uvalde, Texas. Heartbreaking and devastating facts and survivor stories continue to be revealed. Those poor families! Those children! It’s beyond comprehension • I want to be hopeful that Congress will do something. For Public Safety. Inaction cannot be the norm • How did Friday get here so fast? In the US it’s a three day holiday weekend with Memorial Day on Monday. It’s the unofficial start to summer :) • Don’t forget to hug your loved ones!
