An Author and His City

Finally made it to Edinburgh after a delay in Kirkwall.  All these photos were taken within 100 feet of the door of my hotel.  After the quiet of Orkney, I found the city noise deafening.  The hotel is right across the street from the Scott memorial.  Edinburgh architecture is amazing.  I have added another collage of the monument as well as a photo of the castle and another city view.  Off this morning on a busy day of touring.
