Elderflower Cinnabar

I photographed a lovely, fresh, golden bloomed longhorn beetle this morning and saw my first meadow brown butterfly of the season. This cinnabar moth was motionless, deep in the shade in the long grass. It has malformed wings. I lifted it up into the sunshine and after a while it managed to flutter haltingly away.
