Poppy

A bit of a nothing day, with nothing really achieved.

It seems yesterday’s picture was a Jackdaw, rather than a Carrion Crow and although they are from the same family, the Jackdaw is slightly smaller.

Today’s picture is of a poppy flower. Despite an overgrown border it has still managed to bloom and there are several more blooms still in bud. I wanted a shot with more of its centre showing, but the wind kept blowing it about.

The temperature today at noon today was fourteen degrees Celsius.
