Church Flower Festival

Mainly cloudy, windy but some sunshine.

This morning had breakfast, phoned my friend and then went to K's.  We then walked up to the church to the flower festival, some wonderful arrangements blip plus an extra.  Also on display was Rochford District Heritage Tapestry, super work, 10 panels each 56cm high by 90cm wide starting from 1016 through to 2020. It took 20 months from initial concept to tapestry completion with around  90 adults and 80 children taking part.  Alongside the display were knitted items to match the tapestry my favourite was the one shown in my extra.  After this we went to the church hall for coffee and toasted sandwich and sat chatting to friends.  That's the lovely thing about going to local events you always bump into people you know!
Out for a meal this evening to our friends.  I am soooo pleased to be feeling better than last Saturday!
If you're interested I have back blipped flower Friday entry:)
