Charity begins at home

Today was Charities Day in Oban - a couple of lines of stalls were set up in Argyll Square, including the Scottish Wildlife Trust, where I spent a couple of hours.

All the usual organisations were there - Argyll Carers, High School Parents Group, Adventure Oban, Sea Cadets, the Rotary Club, the GRAB Trust, Oban Fire & Rescue, and loads more. Pretty warm too - a cloudless blue sky all day, which makes a change! A good day for meeting up with friends, like-minded folk, everyone in general. 

Not much going on re the Platinum Jubilee, but some kind soul had crocheted a new top for the usual post box - see extra.
