Blossom through the window

I see this blossom through our bedroom window - it's so lovely to open the blinds every morning and be greeted by this sight - it's just a pity it doesn't last longer. I always wish I could hang on to this time of year longer - the differing fresh shades of green and the colorful daffodils, tulips and other flowers and all the beautiful blossom trees. Everything is so very drab and colorless here over winter, to be suddenly surrounded by all this color, quite often under blue skies and sunshine is such a wonderful, welcome gift. It really warmed up during the course of the day and we topped out at 81F (about 27C). However, our high temperature tomorrow will be shortly after midnight, and then the temperatures are expected to continue to fall into the mid 40s (about 7C)! Welcome to Spring in Ohio!
