Family visit

We had a baby in the flat today - after AGES! Shannon is just four and a half months old and is my cousin Sarah's daughter. Her mum has been with her since January to help her adjust to a new life as a parent, and today was the first time they've had the chance to visit us. It was short and sweet, considering we confirmed less than twenty-four hours ago.

G took herself to school in the morning while I caught up with chores, and then we went to Dubai Mall to get scones and strawberries for tonight.
