Marjorie's ramblings

We are starving!

Today the Tynedale Photo Group (TPG) met for a summer garden party at Christine and Kevin's house in Newbrough. Only a few were away on holiday and one with Covid, so there was plenty of noisy chatter. We last saw each other three months ago.

Carol, who organises the group, is very good at keeping us in touch with each other. She also put together a splendid lunch for us. Her sausage rolls were delicious - and I'm not usually keen on sausage rolls.

Kevin and Christine have a beautiful garden. One feature is the Japanese end, with inspired planting and a pond with koi carp. The fish are very friendly and like to suck fingers and to be stroked. (I kid you not!)

They are always on the move so I had a job to catch a decent image.

Then I called in to Hexham for an Aldi shop and a paper hankies from Tesco (we have to have Kleenex).

It's been very warm here so now it is time to water the garden.
