Optimistic

Thank you so much for the stars and hearts and comments for my young deer yesterday. It’s very much appreciated. 

I told you about the “poached egg plant” that the gardener at Calke Abbey helped me with yesterday. 

When I got home, I soaked them thoroughly, split the plants into four, and potted them (They seem to have survived the night.)

I realised when I looked closely that there were a couple of surviving flowers amid the clumps.

I couldn’t resist sharing them on here.
