Fallen Angels

.... although Monkshood, Aconitum by another name, is toxic in all it's parts.   No angel then.

A casualty of the strong winds today, winds accompanied by some beefy showers.  Not ideal greenhouse building weather.   Fortunately there was a lot of indoor work to do, renewing all the rubber waterproofing that makes a seal against the glass.  Celia and I worked on that but Iain was more intrepid and worked on assembling and securing the base.   He was caught in the showers more than once but his perseverance paid off and not only the base is done but two side panels are assembled - extra pic.

In the evening Celia and Iain retired to comfortable accommodation and a meal by Talyllyn Lake, while I went over to Jamie's where we also ate. Some tidying was done too, ready for Clara's visit.   Then in the last hour of daylight Meg and I went down Gwalia to Broadwater.   The sun even shone - briefly!    As we set out we were closely watched by some of the locals - extra pic :-)
