Gin

We were at home most of today, but popped over to see Mum late afternoon and then walked down to St Heliers to drop off a jacket at the dry cleaners.  We then decided we should replenish Mum’s gin supply (only Gordon’s will do!), so went to the liquor shop to make the purchase.  The shop keeper said there were Orcas in the harbour but, unfortunately we weren’t able to see them.  We found out this evening that they were seen round at the far end of Mission Bay.  Maybe tomorrow we’ll be in luck. We walked back up the hill and presented Mum with her new bottle of gin.  She was very pleased. It was only polite to have a drink with her - G&T, of course.

We were amazed at the number of different gins on display in the shop, so I couldn’t resist taking a photo of the shelves for today’s blip.
