Wide Blue Yonder

Today’s weather follows the same pattern as yesterday; cold, dull and drizzly in the morning, gradually transitioning to blue skies and sunshine by late afternoon. This does, of course, allow for watching Wimbledon - the sad defeat of lovely Heather Watson, but with the consolation of Cam Norrie’s  victory.

We return to the Orme. G informs me that he was entertained by the antics of some choughs on the cliffs while I was taking photos yesterday, but of course today, they’re nowhere to be seen. Just like the goats, they’re not cooperating with my photographic plans. Add this to the butterflies, and I’m beginning to think that this is personal.

Thankfully, there’s still the view across West Shore towards the Carneddau - yesterday’s silver shimmers replaced by blues.
