Sgwarnog: In the Field

Succour

succour
for the tired
and hungry
the hand
that feeds

I was fortunate that a bit of brightness developed in the sky just as I was heading home, having almost resigned myself to another flat, grey blip.

This statue of Richard Oastler is another stop on the Bradford Sculpture Trail. Three tons of bronze unveiled in 1869 as a monument to the man who did much to bring an end to child labour.

Meanwhile, great to see Blip Bear and Kiwi made it to Grand Central Station.
