A time for everything

It’s a tough life!

Thursday June 30
After breakfast, we packed up the camper and drove home, stopping on route at the dealership for them to replace the bars on the weight distribution/anti-sway device - Roger noticed the ones they had put on were for a heavier camper. Once we got home, it was time to do laundry and get some jobs done, as Jen and Jason were hoping to arrive late tonight for the holiday weekend. I didn’t end up taking a picture today, so my blip is actually my daughter Jen’s photo of their cat Wall-E (after the film!), in the car, on their very long drive from Salt Lake City. They left Tuesday evening, and spent two nights on route. After 7 years in SLC, they are now embarking on a new stage in their lives in Atlanta Georgia, as Jason has a position as Assistant Professor at a small college in southeast Atlanta, and Jen, as a nurse, easily found a position at Emory University Hospital. Wall-E is less keen on the move, especially the long car ride! Whenever they would stop, he would hide under one of the front seats, and one would have to push and the other pull him out! Unfortunately, Jen and Jason had both recently succumbed to Covid, and while Jen was now recovered except for a bit of a cough and had been back at work, Jason contacted it later, and was still testing positive, so he came in wearing a mask, and headed straight up to their bedroom, as he didn’t want to risk passing it to us.
