Determined

Mr PHL was feeling a bit more human so we got ourselves organised and headed to Hollywood studios. It was hot hot hot again but there’s always plenty of cooling fans around.

We got breakfast sandwiches at the Disney equivalent of Starbucks and sat in the shade to enjoy them before walking around and deciding which rides we’d like to go on. However the park was so busy we only managed 2 but they are my faves so Muppet 3D vision and Star Tours were duly enjoyed by us all. Spotted this very take squirrel who was determined to enjoy his grape whilst cameras were snapping around him.

After a refreshing strawberry daiquiri was enjoyed by Susan and myself whilst Mr PHL risked a diet coke, we posed for some shots in front of the Tower of terror before heading back to the villa for a late lunch and an hour or two by the pool.

We wanted to go out for dinner and found this lovely Italian just a few miles away. It was inside a gated resort but was worth the effort of getting there. We’d mentioned we were celebrating Susan’s birthday and that qualified her for a free dessert. It was delicious!
