The Earn

Nice cool walk with Saffy this morning. Glad that oppressive heat has gone.

Mum had an appointment for a blood test at the docs but we found out when got there that the Practice Nurse was doing it which for normal people would be fine but for my mum it’s a nightmare as last time after four attempts they gave up. So again no luck, I said don’t let them take any more tries than once on each arm. We have a new appointment with the phlebotomist who only works mornings at 11 on Friday. Fingers crossed.

Went to the Earn farm Cafe afterwards. This is Mum listening to some ironing chat. We don’t even own an iron any more . Popped down to Laura’s to use our iron to iron S shirt for the funeral he is attending in MancheSter tomorrow.
