Cone pattern

This was my pattern photo for Abstract Thursday - thank you Ingeborg, it's a nice theme, I wish I'd had more time to look for things. This is a detail of one of the large pine cones in the garden which came from the pine felled by Storm Eunice. They are a lovely colour.
