Ethiopia

Thank you to Munroist4113 for sending this shot of Ethiopia. This is the latest addition to our collection of photographs by blippers of the locations mentioned by LornaL between 1939 and 1942 in her Diary of the war.

Lorna made reference to the Second Italo-Ethiopian/Abyssinian War, which ran from October 1935 to February 1937, in her war diary entry of June 11th 1940 when writing about Italy's entry into World War II. You can listen to Lorna's great-great niece narrating this diary entry in Episode 6 of our podcast series.
